Tags on Invitations Explained
Whilst Tags are primarily used when managing multiple guides to create different sets of content for those guides quickly and easily (see here for more detail), this feature can also be used to customise the topics which display for a particular user/guest.
The principle is very similar to the main use of Tags, where topics will show in a guide when there is a matching Tag between the topic in Content Hub and the guide. Adding Tags to invitations extends this functionality to the unique link for each invitation. Note that invitation Tags work in addition to guide Tags - this means if the guide already has a Tag active, then you don't need to add this to an invitation too.
At the bottom of the new/edit invitation screen is an optional section to apply any Tags to each invitation. If you activate a Tag for a particular Invitation, then any topics in Content Hub with the same Tag will display in the unique guide link for that invitation.
This feature is perfect if you have some extra services, or amenities, that are available to specific guests and only want to provide that information in your Touch Stay guide to those guests. For example, cycles available for hire, a bookable hot tub, an in-house chef or an itinerary of activities.
The first step is to create any new Tags that you need from the dropdown at the top of Content Hub.
Next, find or create the topics that are to be restricted to only certain guests and activate the correct Tag for those from the bottom of the Edit topic screen.
Finally, when creating invitations, you can expand the Tags section and activate the Tags for a particular guest and the topics you have allocated that same Tag to in the previous step, will now show in the unique link for that invitation.
