This feature enables guidebook owners to create a dedicated "Upsell Widget" in their guidebooks. Which will allow owners to display up to five products, each with detailed descriptions, price and currency settings, maximum quantity per order, and purchasing instructions. While the platform facilitates product listings and notifications about orders.

How to Set Up the Upsell Widget Feature

Follow these simple steps to enable the feature and begin offering products to your guests through your guidebook.


Step 1: Enable the Upsell Widget

  • Go to the Content Hub section of your account.
  • Navigate to the Upsell Widget settings.
  • Click on Add Upsell Widget.


  • Fill-up the following fields:

    - Upsell Widget Title (This will be the Category Title of your Upsell Widget)

    - Menu Icon

    - Email Address & Phone Number (This is where you'll receive order confirmations)

    - Full Link to your Terms and Conditions


Step 2: Add Products

  • Within the Upsell Widget section, you may add a sub-category and click on Add Product.
  • Enter the following details for each product:
    • Product name
    • Description
    • Price per item
    • Currency
    • Maximum quantity per order
    • Upload product images
  • Save the product.

Note: You can only create up to five products.


Step 3: Go Live

  • Review your Upsell Widget settings to ensure all details are correct.
  • Publish your guidebook with the Upsell Widget enabled. Guests will now be able to view and place orders for your products.

  • Keep Your Upsell Widget Updated: Regularly review your product details, images, and Terms and Conditions.

  • Be Transparent: Ensure your Terms and Conditions document is clear and includes refund and cancellation policies.

  • Test Before Publishing: Verify that your Upsell Widget displays correctly and notifications are functioning before sharing your guidebook with guests.

  • Communicate Proactively: If there are delays or issues with an order, communicate promptly with your guests to maintain trust.

Can I sell more than five products?

Currently, the Upsell Widget is limited to five products per guidebook. This helps maintain a clear and user-friendly experience for guests.


How are payments handled?

The Upsell Widget does not process payments within the platform. Guidebook owners are responsible for handling payments externally based on their Terms and Conditions.


What notifications will I receive?

You will receive email or SMS notifications whenever a guest places an order, including details such as product name, quantity, and total price.


What happens if I’m unable to fulfill an order?

Include clear instructions in your Terms and Conditions about how unfulfilled orders will be handled. Communicate with your guests directly if an issue arises.


Can guests track their past orders?

Currently, guests cannot track their past orders directly. We will improve it in the upcoming releases.
