How to add videos to your guide

Videos can be added into any topic in your guide and are a great way to show off your property, appliance instructions or even a guest welcome video.

Adding videos

There are two ways to add videos:

  1. At the top of the topic box: ideal if you want just one image in a topic.
  2. Inline with your topic text: at any position in the topic content box - ideal if you want to add multiple images to a single topic

In both cases, you have to find the video you want to add and copy the sharing URL. You will need this to link the video in your guide. It's not possible to upload videos directly as you would do for photos as this can make your guides load slowly. Videos can be linked from the following video platforms:

  • YouTube
  • Vimeo
  • Tiktok
  • Wistia
  • Loom
  • Streamable

(Note that the privacy settings on your video must be set to public access. If it's your own video and you want it visible in your guide but not visible to the general public, set the video access level to unlisted. Do not select private, otherwise only you will be able to view it!).
