How to adjust the map zoom level

The map zoom level adjusts dynamically as you add more location pins or Google Places to your guides. If the map zoom level is not to your liking, you can set a fixed view instead.

Table of contents:

In the new Hub

  1. Open Guidebooks, select your guidebook and click the Property info tab.

  2. In the Location & Address card, switch off Dynamic zoom (Fit zoom to show 10 locations).

  3. Move and zoom the map until it shows the area you want guests to see. That view is saved as your fixed zoom.

  4. Click Save Changes.

In the legacy Hub

Go to Guides and click the name of your guide to open its Guide Details page. In the Guide / Property Address & Location card, click 'Adjust zoom level'. Untick the 'Use dynamic zoom' tick box and click 'Save'.
