How to adjust the map pin of your guide address

Sometimes Google doesn’t put your map pin in the right location on the map. Here's how to move it.

Table of contents:

In the new Hub

  1. Open Guidebooks, select your guidebook and click the Property info tab.

  2. In the Location & Address card, drag the pin on the map to the correct location. Zoom in on the map to get closer to the exact spot.

  3. Click Save Changes.

💡 There are no latitude and longitude fields in the new Hub. If your location is remote and hard for Google Maps to find, enter the nearest address you can, then drag the pin to the exact spot.

To change the address itself, see How to update your guide address.

In the legacy Hub

Go to Guides and click the name of the guide. From the Guide details page scroll down to 'Guide / Property Address & Location'. Click 'Adjust pin location'. Drag the red map pin to the correct location. Use the '+' or '-' buttons to zoom in or out to get closer to the right location.

You can also add the latitude and longitude if your location is remote and hard for Google Maps to find.

If you want to change the map pin address, see how to do that here.
