The Beds24 integration allows you to connect data fields from your Beds24 property and booking records to Touch Stay and have that data automatically update. This allows you to store data, such as the check-in time, in Beds24 and have that sync to Touch Stay for the relevant guides.
Once you connect Beds24 data to a Touch Stay custom field, you can then add the custom field to your topic content, and the check-in time will show in the relevant guide correctly. You can learn more about using field codes in Field Codes Explained.
Table of contents:
Setting up new data mappings
You create new data mappings from the Map data tab of the Integrations page by clicking Add new mapping. From here, choose the data in the Beds24 data field picker that you would like to map to Touch Stay.
For the property-level Check In Time and Check Out Time fields, you'll see Choose mapping type. For Beds24 we recommend choosing Guide custom field.
For the reservation-level Number of Adults and Number of Children fields, you go straight to choosing a user/guest custom field (linked to your invitations).
From here, you can choose an existing custom field code or create a new one by using the "+ New custom field" button, giving it a name and any substitute value. Substitute values are used in the case of data missing when the field code is used; see Field Codes Explained for more details about field codes.
Syncing the guide data
The property data will sync between Beds24 and Touch Stay automatically once every 24 hours, but you can also manually trigger the sync to run at any time.
There is a Resync guide data button on the Map data tab (just under the Beds24 logo), which will sync data for all guides and all data. This may take some time if you have many guides.
Resync a single guide (legacy Hub only): go to Guides, open the guide, open the Guide Details tab, click Edit on the Beds24 Integration card and click Resync guide data. The new Hub doesn't have a single-guide resync, so use the Resync guide data button on the Map data tab instead.
Data sources in Beds24
Property-level fields (taken from the Beds24 property record):
Check In Time — shown as a range (for example "15:00 - 20:00") when both a start and end check-in time are set in Beds24, or as the single time if only one is set.
Check Out Time
Reservation-level fields:
Number of Adults (Number)
Number of Children (Number)
If Beds24 doesn't send a value for a booking, Touch Stay uses 1 adult and 0 children.
