Google Maps can't find my location — what do I do?
Sometimes Google Maps can't find a specific location you're looking for. When this happens, you can manually add a pin instead.
How do I manually add a map pin to a topic?
Click the 3 dots to the right of any topic and click 'Edit topic'. Scroll down to manual location and click 'Add location pin'.
Move the red map pin to the desired location. You can type an address to get close or just drag the pin around the map. You can also add the latitude and longitude if your location is remote or hard to find. Click 'Save'.
Can I add multiple locations to my guidebook map at once?
No — your guidebook map doesn't have a single tool where you drop multiple locations at once. Instead, each location is its own topic, and each topic gets one map pin. Once you've added a pin to a topic (either automatically via Google Place or manually), all of your pinned topics will show together on the same guidebook map.
So if you want several places on your map — for example a pool, a beach, and a restaurant — you'll create a separate topic for each one and add a pin to each. There isn't a way to add multiple pins from a single topic or a single action.
