How to adjust the map position of your guide addressSometimes Google doesn’t map your property in the correct place based on the address alone (if you need to update your address first then see this article). There’s an easy fix for that! Go to the Guide Details tab for the address that isn’t mapping correctly (click on the Guide name on the Guides page). Scroll down to the “Guide / Property Address & Location” section Click on the “Adjust pin location” button Click and drag the red map pin to the correct place (or add the exact lat/lon if you know it) Click the “Save” button once you’re happy Tip: you can zoom in for further granularity by double clicking on the map, or using the + button

How to add a pin to the mapYour guide’s Map tab will automatically add a blue home pin located at the guide address. If you want to add additional pins to the map for information, or recommendations of local places to visit, you have 2 options: Option 1: Using our Google Places integration This will not only add a pin, but will also add lots of other information listed on Google for that place (e.g. website, telephone number, photo, etc).

How do I adjust the map zoom level? The map zoom level will adjust dynamically depending on the distribution of pins on the map. Until you start adding local recommendations, it may seem the zoom level is much too high but as soon as you add some other pins then it will change to include some of those pins too. The easiest way to start adding all the great local places to your guide is by using the Google Places feature, see this article for further details.
