Which mobile devices does Touch Stay work on?

Touch Stay works on all the major mobile web browsers and operating systems, as listed below (a complete list can be found here). It is important to keep devices and web browsers up to date and we do not support legacy versions of many browsers. We'd love to support older devices for longer but, as much of the technology we use is provided by third parties (such as Google maps), we're limited by the length of support they provide. The industry standard is for the previous 2 major releases of any browser. How long each device will be able to update to the latest version of a browser varies by device manufacturer, contact the manufacturer for further details specific to your device.

iOS Devices

  • Apple Safari, the current and previous 2 major versions (see this list for the latest version available)

Android Devices (Android 8 or higher)

  • Chrome, the current and previous 2 major versions
  • Firefox, the current and previous 2 major versions
  • Samsung Internet, the current and previous 2 major versions
  • Ecosia, the current and previous 2 major versions
  • Brave, the current and previous 2 major versions

Notable exceptions are:

  • iOS devices not using Safari and iOS devices that can’t be updated to run the latest iOS or the 2 previous major versions.
  • Amazon Tablets (Echo, Fire, Fire HD etc) – the guidebook will work on Amazon tablets using the Silk browser but the add to home screen function isn’t supported by Amazon Silk.
