How To Share Your Guide Link
There are two different types of link available for you to share your guides with guides users (your guests, event attendees, employees), or whoever you want to share your guides with.

Quick share link explained
Great for sharing your guides with just a few people
The Quick Share link is a generic link that gives full unrestricted access to all sections of your guide. Views per guide user cannot be tracked. Every guide has a Quick share link. This link can also be downloaded as a QR code
Copy this link and paste it into your existing communication workflow such as emails or message templates in Airbnb, Vrbo, Mail Chimp etc.
To find the Quick share link for each guide go to Guides, click the guide name then click 'Invite & Share'.
Where to find your Quick Share links
Click the copy icon next to the guide link to copy your link. Paste the link into your existing communication workflow such as emails or message templates in Airbnb, Vrbo, Mail Chimp etc.
Click 'Create QR code' to generate a QR code for this guide. Print this QR code and place it in your rental property, event hall, classroom etc. to ensure your guide users find and access your guide. Use our free Canva template designs for your print out here.
Ways to change your Quick Share links
Shorten your links
Shorten your Quick Share link using a link shortening service like tinyurl.com
Brand your links
There are two ways you can brand or business name your Quick Share link
- Create a redirect from your website. Check with your website provider to see how to use their redirect feature. Most providers like GoDaddy, Cloudflare and WP Engine allow this.
- Create a custom sub-domain. See how to do this here
Add a custom subdomain
The default domain for your guide links is guide.touchstay.com. If you have your own website and would prefer your links to use a domain that you own, you can set that up by modifying some DNS settings and then adding that to Touch Stay. See how to do that here.
Invitation links explained
Great for sharing your guides with lots of people
Invitation links are customised links that enables you to limit access by date or to certain sections of your guide. Views per guide user are tracked. Invitation links can be automatically created through one of our PMS integrations, through CSV file upload or manually one by one
Once created, these links can be automatically sent to guide users with Touch Stay's Memo messaging assistant or manually pasted into your existing communication workflow. (If you are a property manager or how, invitation links can be automatically be sent to your PMS unified inbox with our PMS integrations.)
How to create your invitation links
To manually create an Invitation link go to Memo > Invitations and click 'Invite by link'. Fill in the information of the person you want to create a link for. If you want your link to expire after a certain time, use the lead time box to set a time limit. If you do not want the link to expire, choose 'Unlimited', then click 'Save'.
To copy your link, click the 3 dots menu to the right of the invitation and select 'Copy link'. Paste the link into your existing communication workflow such as emails or message templates in Airbnb, Vrbo, Mail Chimp etc. You can see how many views this link receives on the same page.
How to automatically send out invitation links
Now you know how to create custom links for each guide user you can use automations to send these links without having to do it manually each time. There are 3 ways to do this:
