Table of contents:
- 1. Google Translate for instant translations
- 2. Add your own translated text with the Multi-Language option
1. Google Translate for instant translations:
Use this option for a quick translation solution powered by Google Translate
Enable this setting to give your guests the ability to choose which language they view your guidebook in.
To turn this on, log in, click on the Account tab, click on the Settings page and the click Google Translate option:
Once activated, there will be a globe icon on the guest view HOME tab to choose the language for the guide to be translated into.
Note: Translations are powered by Google Translate. Touch Stay does not have any control over the output and cannot edit translations. For a more precise solution, see the Multi-Language option below:
2. Add your own translated text with the Multi-Language option
Use this option if you require more accurate and precise translations
You can create your guide in other languages by entering your own translation for the text. Currently we support Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Norwegian, Finnish, Russian, Greek, Welsh, Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, Bulgarian and Romanian.
When using the Multi-Language option, you just need to add your own translated text to your Categories, Sub-categories and Topics.Touch Stay automatically translates navigation elements, such as the “Get Started” button and map tab filters.
Learn how to turn on this setting and add your own translations to your guidebooks with our Knowlegde Base article.
If you would like a language that we don’t currently support then please send us a support message with your request.
