How to Keep Your Airbnb Listings Safe from Delisting
Airbnb has a strict policy regarding messaging and shared guidebook content if they promote guests booking outside of Airbnb. To ensure your listings remain compliant and avoid being delisted, please follow these simple guidelines.
What's changed?
Airbnb's AI system now actively scans links and other content shared through Airbnb messaging, including digital guidebooks. If your guidebook contains sections that promote alternative booking platforms (e.g., a "book again" section suggesting bookings outside Airbnb), your listing could be delisted.
Recommended Actions
1. Check Your Guidebooks
- Review your guidebooks shared via Airbnb messaging.
- If using Airbnb messaging to share your guidebook, remove or edit sections that mention or suggest using booking channels other than Airbnb.
2. Use the Memo SMS notification feature
- Take advantage of Touch Stay's Memo notification feature to share information via SMS. Not all guests use the Airbnb app, and app notifications are less reliable than SMS.
- Memo allows you to send SMS directly to your guests from the Touch Stay platform.

3. Create a QR code for your guide and display it at your property
