Guide level data mapping with Hostify

The Hostify integration lets you pass reservation data from Hostify into Touch Stay custom fields, so you can use it in your guide content and Message Hub templates for each guest.

ℹ️ Hostify custom fields aren't listed in the mapping picker. Only the fields listed below can be mapped. The picker also shows a listing-level Lockbox Code field, but its value isn't currently filled in by the sync, so we don't recommend relying on it. Add listing information such as the WiFi password or cleaning instructions to your guide content in Touch Stay.

Table of contents:

Data you can map from Hostify

The following Hostify reservation fields can be mapped to a Touch Stay user/guest custom field (linked to your invitations):

  • Number of Adults (Number)

  • Number of Children (Number)

  • Number of Infants (Number)

  • Number of Pets (Number)

  • Lock Pin Code (Number)

  • Notes (Text)

  • Check-in Form Link (Text)

Guest name, arrival and departure dates and contact details are imported automatically with each reservation, so you don't need to map them. See Hostify Integration for the full setup.

Setting up a new data mapping

  1. Go to Integrations in the left sidebar and open the Map data tab.

  2. Click Add new mapping.

  3. In the Hostify data field picker, choose the field you want to map.

  4. Choose an existing user/guest custom field, or create a new one by giving it a name and any substitute value.

Because these fields are reservation-level, you won't see the Choose mapping type step: they always map to a user/guest custom field.

Substitute values are used when no data is available for a reservation. See Field Codes Explained for more detail about field codes.

When the data updates

Reservations that sync from Hostify after you create the mapping will have the value filled in on their invitation. You can then add the field code to your Message Hub templates or guide content to personalise them for each guest.
