How to create an AI-generated guidebook from your Airbnb listing after sign-up

Learn how to generate a Touch Stay guidebook using your Airbnb or Booking.com listing after sign-up, including how to import your listing, review topics, edit content, and preview your guidebook before sharing it with guests.

If you skipped the AI guidebook generation during sign-up, don’t worry, you can still create a guidebook using your Airbnb or Booking.com listing at any time.

This feature allows Touch Stay to automatically import information from your listing and generate a guidebook structure for you.

Before you start

If you are currently on a trial account or only have one guide created, you may first need to delete your existing guide before creating a new AI-generated one.

⚠️ Deleting a guide will permanently remove its content.

Step 1: Delete your existing guide

  • Go to the Guides page.

  • Click the three dots menu on the right-hand side of the guide row.

  • Select: Delete guide

Step 2: Create a new guide

  1. While still on the Guides page, click + Add Guide at the top right-hand side of the page. You will then see two options:

    1. Start with Online listing

    2. Start from scratch

  2. Under Start with Online listing, click: Start with URL

You can use either: an Airbnb listing URL or a Booking.com listing URL

Step 3: Add your listing URL

Paste your Airbnb or Booking.com listing link into the import field.

Touch Stay will then automatically fetch information from your listing.

This may take a few moments, depending on the size of your listing.

Step 4: Review your property details

Once the import is complete, you’ll be able to review and update your property information before generating the guidebook. This includes:

  • Cover photo

  • Property name

  • Check-in information

  • Amenities

  • Wi-Fi details

  • House policies

When ready, click: Next: Content

Step 5: Choose how to create your content

You will now see the option to:

  • Re-use content from existing guidebooks

  • Or start from scratch

⚠️ If you are on a trial account or only have one guide, we recommend selecting: Use listing data only

This creates a fresh guidebook using only the imported listing information.

When ready, click Next: Generate Content

Step 6: Review topics to include

Touch Stay will now suggest sections and topics to include in your guidebook.

For example:

  • Welcome information

  • Check-in instructions

  • Wi-Fi details

  • Local recommendations

  • House rules

  • Departure information

You can choose which sections you would like to include.

💡 Don’t worry if you are not completely sure what content to keep at this stage. You can always add, edit, or remove content later.

When ready, click: ✨ Generate guidebook

Step 7: Review and edit your guidebook

Once your guidebook has been generated, you will land on:

  • Guide PageGuide Details tab

From here, you can update details such as:

  • Guide name

  • Contact details

  • Property address

  • Branding and colours

  • Cover image

Step 8: Edit guidebook content in Content Hub

To edit the actual content of your guidebook, click Content Hub from the left-hand sidebar.

Inside the Content Hub, your guide content is organised into:

  • Categories

  • Subcategories

  • Topics

This structure makes it easy to manage and organise your content. From here, you can:

  • Add new content

  • Upload images

  • Update instructions

  • Edit recommendations

  • Create new sections

  • Remove content you no longer need

💡 Tip: Any updates you make in the Content Hub will automatically update your guidebook.

📚 To learn more about how the Categories, Subcategories, and Topics structure works, please see this article: Guidebook structure explained: Categories, subcategories and topics

Step 9: Preview your guidebook

To review how your guidebook will appear to guests, click: Preview Guide

This will open your guidebook in a new browser tab.

We also recommend previewing your guidebook on mobile, as most guests will use it this way during their stay.

Previewing your guide allows you to:

  • Check the layout and design

  • Review your content

  • Test navigation

  • Confirm images display correctly

  • Experience the guide exactly as your guests will see it

If you would like to make changes, simply return to the Guide Details page or Content Hub to continue editing.
