How to update your property details (new Hub)

In the new Hub, your guidebook name, contact details, location and timezone all live on the dedicated Property info tab. Each section includes a "Use Guidebook defaults" toggle so you can inherit your account-level settings or override them for this specific guidebook.

How to get there

  1. Open the Guidebooks section from the left sidebar.

  2. Select the guidebook you want to edit (or use the "Editing guidebook" dropdown to switch to it).

  3. Click the Property info tab.

Update your property name

  1. On the Property info tab, find the Property name field.

  2. Enter or update the name for this guidebook.

  3. Click Save.

This is the name that appears on the cover of your guest-facing guidebook.

Update your contact details

  1. On the Property info tab, scroll to the Contact details section.

  2. Edit the following fields as needed:

    • Contact name

    • Email address

    • Phone number

    • Preferred contact method — choose Voice call or SMS. This controls what happens when a guest taps your phone number on the guide cover: it either opens their phone dialer or their SMS/text composer. Note this only affects the tap behaviour — since the number is shown as visible text, guests can still choose to text it manually from their own phone regardless of this setting.

    • WhatsApp Phone number — optional. If filled in, a WhatsApp icon appears on the guide cover as a separate contact option guests can tap to message or call you on WhatsApp.

  3. Click Save.

These are the details guests will see when they need to reach you from your guidebook.

The guide cover displays up to three contact lines: phone (call or SMS, per your Preferred contact method), email, and WhatsApp (if provided).

💡 Tip: If you want the same contact details across all your guidebooks, set them in your Guidebook defaults and leave the "Use Guidebook defaults" toggle switched on. You only need to edit here if this guidebook requires different details.

💡 Tip: Each contact field maps directly to one line on the guide cover — Phone number controls the phone line, Email address controls the email line, and WhatsApp Phone number controls the WhatsApp line. Leave any field blank and its corresponding line simply won't appear on the guide cover, so you can choose to show all three, just one or two, or none at all. For example, leaving Phone number blank while filling in WhatsApp means guests will only see a WhatsApp option — useful if you'd rather not be reached by call or SMS.

Update your location & address

  1. On the Property info tab, scroll to the Location & Address section.

  2. Enter or update your property address.

  3. If the map pin doesn't sit in the right place, drag it to the correct position.

  4. Click Save.

The map pin location determines where your property appears on the guidebook map, so it's worth checking this is accurate.

Set your timezone

  1. On the Property info tab, scroll to the Timezone section.

  2. Select the correct timezone for your property from the dropdown.

  3. Click Save.

⚠️ Important: The timezone drives several features including check-in/check-out times, scheduled messaging and other time-based automations. Make sure this is set correctly.

Using Guidebook defaults

Each section on the Property info tab has a "Use Guidebook defaults" toggle:

Toggle setting

What happens

On (default)

This guidebook inherits the value you've set in your account-level Guidebook defaults. If you update the default, this guidebook updates too.

Off

This guidebook uses its own value, independent of the account default. Changes to the default won't affect it.

This is especially useful if you manage multiple properties. Set your standard details once in Guidebook defaults, then only override on guidebooks that need something different.
