Rename your guidebook's tabs to match how you talk to guests, and hide the Map tab if you don't want it.
What it does
The Tabs card on the Settings tab lets you rename the tabs on this guide. The maximum length for any tab name is 8 characters.
How to set it up
Go to Guidebooks → Settings for your guidebook and scroll to the Tabs card.
Edit the Tab name field for the tab you want to rename: Front page tab, Guidebook content tab, Map Tab, Store Tab or Search Tab.
If your guidebook supports more than one language, switch language at the top of the card and repeat — tab names are set per language.
To hide the map, switch off Display in guidebook? next to Map Tab.
Click Save.
Good to know
Tab names are limited to 8 characters.
Map Tab is the only tab you can hide here. Front page tab, Guidebook content tab and Search Tab are always shown, so their Display in guidebook? toggles are fixed on.
The Store Tab toggle isn't editable in this card — it reflects whether your store is switched on for the account.
Renaming a tab only changes its label; it doesn't change what's inside it.
Why this is better: Hosts can match the guidebook's tab labels to how they talk to guests, and remove the Map tab when it isn't useful.
