How to switch to Guidebook 2.0

Turn on Guidebook 2.0 from General settings to give your guests the new guest experience.

Turn on Guidebook 2.0 from General settings to give your guests the new guest experience. This switch applies to your whole account, and you can switch back to the legacy design at any time.

How to set it up

  1. Go to General settings → Guidebook experience.

  2. Compare the Guidebook 2.0 and Legacy design cards, then click Select on the Guidebook 2.0 card.

  3. You'll see a confirmation toast ("Settings saved successfully.") and the card now shows Selected.

What your guests see

The next time a guest opens any of your guidebook links, they'll see the new design. The link, QR code and invitations all stay the same.

Good to know

  • This setting applies to your whole account — it isn't set per guidebook.

  • Guidebook 2.0 works best alongside Invitations and Guest Registration.

  • Switching is opt-in — nothing changes for your guests until you select it, and you can switch back to Legacy design whenever you like.

  • Timelines and Guest Registration only unlock their full guest-journey experience once your account is on Guidebook 2.0 — until then, their tabs show a prompt to switch.

  • Your guidebook's Appearance tab changes once you're on Guidebook 2.0: you'll see Front page customizations and Branding: Logo, Colors & Fonts instead of the legacy Cover background photo and Avatar, Logo & Colors cards.

FAQ

Will this change my guidebook link? No — your existing link, QR code and invitations keep working exactly as before.

Can I switch back? Yes, at any time, by clicking Select on the Legacy design card on the same screen.

Does this apply to just one guidebook? No — this switch applies to your whole account, so all your guidebooks move to Guidebook 2.0 together.

Why this is better: One switch turns on the faster new design for your whole account without touching your links, invitations or content — and you can undo it just as easily.
