How referral rewards are paid

How and when referral account credit is released and applied to your Touch Stay invoice.

Referral rewards for hosts are paid as account credit, applied automatically toward a future Touch Stay invoice.

How it works

  1. When a host you referred subscribes to a paid plan for the first time, your reward is recorded as account credit on your account.

  2. Account credit is released once a month, on the 1st. Rewards earned during one month are released on the 1st of the following month, so there's a wait between earning a reward and seeing it on your account.

  3. It's applied automatically to your next Touch Stay invoice — you don't need to enter a code or request it. That may be your subscription renewal or another Touch Stay charge, whichever comes first.

  4. If you don't have a paid subscription yet when your reward is earned (for example, you're on the Free plan), the account credit is still yours. It's added to your account on the next monthly release (the 1st) like any other reward, and waits there until your next Touch Stay invoice, for example when you subscribe.

Good to know

  • Account credit can only be used against future Touch Stay purchases — it's never paid out as cash.

  • Guest referral vouchers work differently: your guest receives their $20 reward directly by email, separate from your account credit.
