You can see how much your guests are engaging with their guidebook — how many times they've opened it, when they last looked, and who hasn't opened it at all.
Table of contents:
Checking an individual guest
Go to Messaging & Chat → Invitations.
Each row is one guest. Look at the Views and Last viewed columns.
Column | What it tells you |
Views | How many guide page views have been recorded for that guest's invitation. |
Last viewed | The date they most recently opened it. Blank means they never have. |
The default columns are Guide, Name, Email, Phone, Views, Last viewed, Created Date and Arrival Date. Open the table's three-dot menu and choose Choose Columns to swap in Departure Date, Check-in time, Check-out time, Booking Source or your own invitation custom fields — up to nine columns at once.
💡 Tip: You can sort by Views to bring your most or least engaged guests to the top.
Finding guests who haven't opened their guide
On Messaging & Chat → Invitations, open Filter by.
Select Unopened.
That gives you every invitation with no recorded views. Two ways to narrow it further:
Combine it with a specific guidebook.
Add Future Arrivals Only — this is the one you want for chasing guests who are arriving soon and still haven't looked.
📌 Selecting Opened does the reverse. Selecting both, or neither, removes the filter entirely.
The across-the-board view
For a summary rather than guest-by-guest detail, go to Data Dashboard → Summary. It shows:
Total Views — the total views for the guidebooks and dates you choose.
Total visitors — the number of different visitors over the same dates.
Use Select guides to choose All guides, one guidebook or a tag, and Select date range to choose the period. It starts on Last month.
💡 Tip: Pick one guidebook in Select guides to check how a single property is doing, then jump to Messaging & Chat → Invitations to see exactly which guests.
What a "view" actually means
Worth being precise about this, because it's easy to read too much into the number.
A view is a recorded guide page view. An invitation counts as opened as soon as there's at least one.
It does not tell you:
Whether the invitation email or SMS was delivered.
Whether the guest read the message.
How much of the guidebook they actually went through.
It's also a total page-view count, not a count of unique visitors — a guest opening their guide five times shows five views.
