Guests who open your guidebook through a link without stay dates — a quick-share link — see a slightly different Timelines experience.
What your guests see
All five moments are open on the Home tab's moment strip (Pre-arrival · Check-in · During your stay · Check-out · Post-stay), and none of the timeframe or access settings apply.
Nothing auto-advances: your guest lands on Pre-arrival and taps through the moments strip themselves.
The moment they last viewed is remembered on their device the next time they visit.
Widgets that would normally show a date, like check-in or check-out reminders, show times only, with no date.
Good to know
This applies whenever a guest's stay has no dates attached — for example a quick-share or destination link, rather than a personal invitation.
Because there's no invitation, your Access Level settings don't apply to this guest either — the same as today's guidebook behaviour.
Once a guest has real stay dates — through a synced booking, an invitation, or a guest registration form — the guidebook auto-advances and the access toggles apply normally.
Why this is better: Hosts know what a link-only guest will experience, without dates to drive automatic moment switching.
