Source tracking adds a small utm_source tag to the guide links Touch Stay sends for you, so each link carries the channel it was sent through. It starts as Enabled, and you can switch it off or on at any time.

What source tracking links do
When Source tracking links in Message Hub is Enabled, Touch Stay adds a utm_source tag to the end of your guide link. The tag tells the channels apart, for example an email, a text message or an Airbnb message.
When it is Disabled, Touch Stay sends the plain link without the tag. Only the end of the link changes, and the link still points to the same guide.
How to turn it on or off
Before you start
Viewers can see the setting but can't change it.
The setting isn't shown on master accounts.
In the left sidebar, go to Messaging & Chat. The page title reads Message Hub.
Open the Settings tab.
Find the Source tracking links in Message Hub card.
Click Enabled to add the tag, or Disabled to leave it out. The change saves straight away, so there is no Save button.
💡 In the legacy Hub the same card is under Message Hub → Settings.
Where the tag is added
The setting belongs to your account, so it applies to all of your guidebooks. When it is Enabled, Touch Stay adds the tag to:
the guide link in your Message Hub emails, including the one you insert with the {{invitation_link}} field code
the guide link in your Message Hub text messages
the guide link in Airbnb messages sent from Message Hub
the QR code inside a guidebook PDF
the guide link Touch Stay sends to your property management system, for integrations that send the link back
So setting it to Disabled in Message Hub also removes the tag from the PDF QR code and from the links Touch Stay sends to your property management system.
Good to know
Touch Stay adds the tag when each message is sent. A change applies to messages sent after you make it. Links in messages that have already gone out stay as they were.
The tag doesn't replace or hide your guide link. It is added to it.
