How to set check-in & check-out times

In the new Hub, your check-in and check-out times have their own Check-in & Wi-Fi access tab within your guidebook.

Table of contents:

How to set check-in and check-out times

  1. Open the Guidebooks section from the left sidebar.

  2. Select the guidebook you want to edit (or use the "Editing guidebook" dropdown to switch to it).

  3. Click the Check-in & Wi-Fi access tab.

  4. In the Check-in and Check-out card, set the Check-in time (shown as After … — guests can arrive from this time).

  5. Set the Check-out time (shown as Before … — guests leave by this time).

  6. Click Save Changes.

Show times on the guidebook front page

Want your guests to see check-in and check-out times as soon as they open your guidebook?

  1. On the Check-in & Wi-Fi access tab, tick the Show on front page checkbox under the times.

  2. Click Save Changes.

This is especially useful for reducing repetitive guest questions about arrival and departure.

Offer early check-in & late check-out

You can use check-in and check-out as an upsell opportunity through your Store.

If your Store is enabled, the Check-in & Wi-Fi access tab shows a tip: "TIP: Increase your revenue - sell extras easily!" Click Offer Early check-in & Late check-outs to go to your Store, where you can add early check-in and late check-out as extras guests can buy from your guidebook.

ℹ️ There's no switch to turn on here: the offer is set up in your Store. If your Store isn't enabled, the tip doesn't appear.

Using Guidebook defaults for check-in & check-out

If your account has more than one guidebook, the Check-in and Check-out card has a Use Guidebook defaults toggle:

Toggle setting

What happens

On (default)

This guidebook inherits the check-in and check-out times from your account-level Guidebook defaults

Off

This guidebook uses its own times, independent of the account default

The toggle saves as soon as you switch it, so you don't need to click Save Changes for it.

This is useful when most of your properties share the same check-in/check-out times but one or two have different schedules.

What's different from the legacy Hub?

Legacy Hub

New Hub

Check-in/check-out times buried in a long settings page

Their own Check-in & Wi-Fi access tab

No account-level defaults — set times on every guidebook individually

Set times once in Guidebook defaults; inherit or override per guidebook
