How to delete a guidebook
Go to Guidebooks in the left sidebar.
Select the guidebook you want to remove from the Editing guidebook dropdown.
Click Settings in the guidebook's left menu.
Scroll down to Delete Guidebook.
Click Delete Guidebook.
This won't delete any related content — it's not permanently removed, and you can restore it at any time.
If you need to downgrade your subscription
After deleting the guidebook(s) you no longer need, you can downgrade your subscription:
Click the user icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Select Billing.
Click Manage Subscription.
Select Change Plan.
Update the number of guidebooks to match your needs.
Click Confirm Change.
Note: Downgrades take effect on your next renewal date, not immediately.
For more details, see our article on managing your subscription.
How to restore a deleted guidebook
Go to Account library in the left sidebar.
Click Deleted guidebooks.
Find the guidebook you want to restore — use the search bar if you have many, and each entry shows the date it was deleted.
Click Restore.
When reactivated, your guidebook will be restored with all your custom content, including topics, images, videos, text, and invitations.
Important notes
If you deleted a Content Hub topic before deleting the guidebook, any custom content that was under that topic will not be restored, as the parent topic no longer exists.
The soft delete feature for guidebooks was released in July 2024. Any guides deleted before that release were permanently removed from the system, as recovery wasn't available at the time. From July 2024 onwards, any deleted guidebooks can be restored at any time.
