Turn on Guidebook 2.0 from General settings in the new Hub to give your guests the new guest experience. This switch applies to your whole account, and you can switch back to the legacy design at any time.
Table of contents:
Before you start
The switch lives in the new Hub, under General settings → Guidebook experience.
Only account owners, admins and team admins can change it. If the controls are greyed out, ask your account owner, an admin or a team admin.
If you still use the legacy Hub, you may see a pop-up introducing the new guidebook, where you can preview Guidebook 2.0 and turn it on. You can also move to the new Hub and follow the steps below.
How to set it up
Go to General settings → Guidebook experience.
On the Guidebook 2.0 card, choose which features to turn on with it:
Timelines: on by default
Guest Registration: on by default if you already use Contact Collection
Dark mode: on by default
Click Select on the Guidebook 2.0 card.
You'll see a confirmation, and the card now shows Selected.
💡 Timelines you turn on here are set up straight away as part of the switch, so check your Timelines tab afterwards. If a feature couldn't be turned on, a message tells you Guidebook 2.0 is on and names that feature, so you can set it up separately.
What your guests see
The next time a guest opens any of your guidebook links, they'll see the new design. The link, QR code and invitations all stay the same.
Good to know
This setting applies to your whole account — it isn't set per guidebook.
Guidebook 2.0 works best alongside Invitations and Guest Registration.
Switching is opt-in — nothing changes for your guests until you select it, and you can switch back to Legacy design whenever you like.
If an owner, admin or team admin switches to the legacy Hub, Guidebook 2.0 is turned off for your whole account. To use it again, select it on General settings → Guidebook experience in the new Hub.
Timelines and Guest Registration only unlock their full guest-journey experience once your account is on Guidebook 2.0 — until then, their tabs show a prompt to switch.
On Guidebook 2.0, Contact Collection no longer appears under Settings → Guest engagement: Guest Registration replaces it.
Your guidebook's Appearance tab changes once you're on Guidebook 2.0: you'll see Front page customizations and Branding: Logo, Colors & Fonts instead of the legacy Cover background photo and Avatar, Logo & Colors cards.
