Switching to Guidebook 2.0 changes how your guidebook looks and feels, but most of what you've already set up carries straight across.
Table of contents:
What carries over
Your guidebook content, topics and categories
Translations and supported languages
Campaigns: pop-ups and banners still show
Invitations, QR codes and your existing guidebook link
What's different
The guidebook opens in a new, faster design with a bottom tab bar (Home, Info, Store, Assistant).
Guests can install the guidebook to their phone's home screen.
What changes in the Hub
Contact Collection is replaced by Guest Registration. Contact Collection no longer appears under Settings → Guest engagement, for your account or for each guidebook. Set up Guest Registration instead.
The Appearance tab swaps cards. You get Front page customizations and Branding: Logo, Colors & Fonts in place of the legacy Cover background photo and Avatar, Logo & Colors cards. See How to customise your guidebook appearance.
Tab names allow more characters. On Guidebook 2.0 you can rename the Front page, Guidebook content, Store and Assistant tabs, up to 12 characters each. See How to rename your guidebook tabs.
New General settings. Guest Data Processing appears under General settings once you're on Guidebook 2.0.
FAQ
Do I need to change my guidebook link? No. The link, QR code and invitations you already share keep working, and they open the new design automatically.
Do campaigns still work? Yes. Pop-up and banner campaigns still show in Guidebook 2.0. See Campaign Manager for how they're displayed.
Can guests share the guidebook with others in their party? Yes. Guests tap Info (or your own name for that tab), open a section, then open one of the pages inside it. The share icon is at the top right, next to the page title. Under Share the guidebook, they can tap Copy link or send the link by email, Messenger or WhatsApp. To point someone to one particular topic, they turn on Share specific topic on page first. The link opens the guidebook on that page, with the same access the guest has. The share icon isn't on the Home tab.
Can I go back? Yes. Select Legacy design on General settings → Guidebook experience at any time. See How to switch to Guidebook 2.0.
What if I switch to the legacy Hub? If an owner, admin or team admin switches to the legacy Hub, Guidebook 2.0 is turned off for your whole account. To use it again, select it on General settings → Guidebook experience in the new Hub.
