Table of contents:
Step 1: Connect with Tiqets
Fill in this quick form: 👉 Tiqets Partner Questionnaire
Receive your unique embed code. Once submitted, we'll send you your personal Tiqets Discovery Widget code.
💡 Tip: Each code is unique, so be sure to use the one provided for your account.
Step 2: Add your Tiqets embed code to Touch Stay
Open Custom Elements: in the new Hub, Account library → Custom Elements in the left sidebar (multi-account owners: Content Hub → Custom Elements); in the legacy Hub, Settings → Custom Elements.
Click New Custom Element and complete the form:
Under Third Party Service, select Tiqet Widget from the drop-down list.
In Element code name, enter your own reference name (or use the one we gave you).
In Tiqet Discovery Widget code, paste your embed code.
Click Save.
Your Tiqets widget is now stored in your Touch Stay account and ready to be added anywhere in your guide.
Step 3: Display your Tiqets widget in your guide
You can place your Tiqets widget in any topic — for example, in a section about local attractions or things to do. For a better reading experience, we recommend giving it its own category (e.g. Local experiences or Things to do).
In the new Hub
Open your guidebook's Guidebook Content tab and expand the subcategory where you want the widget.
Click Add Topic to [your subcategory name] and choose Blank. Type a Title for the topic.
In the topic editor toolbar, click Custom Element. The Insert Custom Element window opens.
Choose your Tiqets element from the list and click Insert to add it to the topic.
Click Save Changes.
In the legacy Hub
Go to your Content Hub.
Click + New category and name it something like Local experiences or Things to do.
Add a subcategory to organise your content further.
Click + Add new topic > Your Own Topic
In the Content Box toolbar, click Custom Element.
Choose your Tiqets code from the list and click Insert to add it to the topic.
Scroll down and activate at least one tag — this is what tells the system to display this content in your guide.
Click Submit.
Your Tiqets Widget is now live!
💡 Tip: Preview your guide to check how the widget looks before sharing it with guests.
Other widgets: Viator and Welcome Pickups
Viator and Welcome Pickups are added through the same Custom Elements list as Tiqets.
Add a Viator widget
Open Custom Elements as in Step 2 and click New Custom Element.
Under Third Party Service, select Viator Widget.
In Element code name, enter your own reference name.
In Viator Widget code, paste your Viator widget code.
Click Save.
If Touch Stay says the code is invalid, paste the full widget code again. It needs to include a <div> with the data-vi-partner-id and data-vi-widget-ref attributes.
Then add the element to a topic the same way as in Step 3: click Custom Element in the topic editor toolbar, choose your Viator element, click Insert, then save.
You can also connect Viator from Tours & Activities, which adds the widget to your guidebooks for you. See The Tours & Activities Explained.
Add a Welcome Pickups widget
Under Third Party Service, select Welcome Pickups. The full steps are in Welcome Pickups Integration.
