In the new Hub, Custom Elements live in the Account library → Custom Elements section (multi-account owners: Content Hub → Custom Elements). Build a Custom Element once and reuse it across all your guidebooks from one central place.

How Custom Elements work
A Custom Element embeds a third-party service — a 3D tour, a form, a playlist and more — inside a topic of your guidebook.
The basic steps:
Open Account library → Custom Elements from the left sidebar (multi-account owners: Content Hub → Custom Elements).
Click New Custom Element, choose the Third Party Service, give it an Element code name and add the required link or embed code.
Insert it into any topic in your guidebook content (see below).
Save — the embedded service appears in the guest view.
Because Custom Elements live in the Account library, you create them once and can insert the same one into topics across multiple guidebooks. Update the Custom Element in one place and it updates everywhere it's used, except in a guidebook that has its own link or embed code set in the Legacy Hub.
Supported Custom Elements
There are currently 27 services you can add as Custom Elements. Where we have a setup guide for a service, it's linked below.

What to paste for each service
After you pick a Third Party Service, the box for the link or code is named after it, for example Spotify playlist link or Matterport embed code. Touch Stay checks what you paste and refuses it if it doesn't match.
For an embed code, paste the whole code the service gives you, not just the link. Touch Stay reads the address from the iframe in the code, and that address has to match the format below.
Service | What to paste | Accepted format |
EyeSpy360 | Embed code | Contains .vr-360-tour.com |
InsideMaps | Embed code | |
Matterport | Embed code or tour link | |

How to embed a Less Annoying CRM form in your guide
Copy your form's link. It starts with https://forms.lessannoyingcrm.com/view/.
Open Account library → Custom Elements (multi-account owners: Content Hub → Custom Elements) and click New Custom Element.
Under Third Party Service, select Less Annoying CRM Form. The Element code name is filled in for you, and you can change it.
Paste your form's link into the Less Annoying CRM form link box. The Standard element height is pre-filled, and you can change it.
Click Save, then insert the Custom Element into a topic (see Inserting a Custom Element into your guidebook).
If the link doesn't start with the address above, Touch Stay refuses it and asks you to use the direct 'view' link for your form.
Embedding a service that isn't listed
If a service isn't on the list, you can still embed it with an iframe. Ask the service for its embed code, then:
Open the topic where you want it to appear (see Inserting a Custom Element into your guidebook).
In the content editor toolbar, click Source code (the last button) and paste the iframe where you want it, then confirm.
Click Save Changes.
An iframe from any https address is kept. Touch Stay keeps basic settings such as the address, width and height, but removes the allow, allowfullscreen and scrolling settings, so features that rely on them, such as full-screen mode, may not work. Scripts can't run in a topic, so an embed that needs a script won't work.
💡 Don't see the service you need? Contact our team at [email protected] to enquire about it being included in a future update. Not all suggestions will be added, but we'll do our best to accommodate as many requests as we can.
Inserting a Custom Element into your guidebook
Open the guidebook and go to the Guidebook Content tab.
Open the topic where you want to add the Custom Element (click the topic name or (⋯) → Edit).
In the content editor toolbar, click Custom Element, choose the element from the dropdown and click Insert. You can also create a new one from there.
Click Save Changes.
Check the live preview on the right to confirm the embedded service appears correctly.
You can add the same Custom Element to topics in different guidebooks — they'll all display the same embedded service, managed from one place. If a different link or embed code was set for a guide in the Legacy Hub, that guide shows its own.
Managing your Custom Elements
All your Custom Elements are managed centrally in Account library → Custom Elements (multi-account owners: Content Hub → Custom Elements).
From here you can:
Create a new Custom Element
Edit an existing Custom Element, including its Standard element height — changes apply everywhere it's used, except in a guidebook with its own link, embed code or height set in the Legacy Hub
Delete a Custom Element — it will no longer appear in any guidebook where it was inserted
What's different from the legacy Hub?
Custom Elements work the same way in both Hubs and offer the same services. In both Hubs you insert them with the Custom Element button in the topic editor toolbar. The differences are:
Legacy Hub | New Hub |
Found under Settings → Custom Elements | Found under Account library → Custom Elements (multi-account owners: Content Hub → Custom Elements) |
A different link or embed code can be set per guide from the Guide Custom Elements card on the guide's Guide Details page (accounts with more than one guide) | No per-guide screen yet: values already set per guide in the Legacy Hub still apply, and you change them by switching to the Legacy Hub (as an owner, admin or team admin, switching also turns Guidebook 2.0 off) |
On the legacy Hub? See Custom Elements explained (Legacy hub).
