Pick exactly which personal and stay details your guests need to give you before they can access the guidebook.
Table of contents:
What it does
Select Form settings on the Guest personal info & stay details row to control two things: whether the whole step is required, and which individual fields guests must fill in.
Guest Registration is available on Guidebook 2.0 guidebooks only. On a guidebook that still uses the legacy design, you'll see a message with an Explore New guidebook button instead of the settings.
How to set it up
Go to Guidebooks → Guest Registration and select Form settings on the Guest personal info & stay details row.
Under Require this step to access the guidebook, choose Required so guests must submit before entering the guidebook, or Optional so they can skip it.
In the Field table, turn each field's Required? toggle on or off.
Select Save, then select Save Changes in the bar at the bottom of the page. Save in the dialog only applies the change on screen.
Good to know
When you first switch the block on it starts as Optional — switch it to Required if guests must check in before they can see the guidebook.
First name, Last name, and E-mail are required by default; Phone number is not.
Check-in and Check-out date is required by default; Expected arrival time is not.
When a guest opens the guidebook from their own personalised invitation link, their booking details pre-fill automatically.
Under Display Guest registration, choose Always, or Based on schedule to show it only a set number of hours or days (1 to 30) before check-in. Based on schedule is only available when the step is Optional.
You can also add up to 20 custom stay fields (label up to 100 characters). The types are Date, Time, Number, Short text and True/False, and each has its own Required toggle.
