Categories and subcategories are how your content is organised. In the new Hub you add both inline, straight in the Content library, without opening a separate page.
ℹ️ This article covers the new Hub. If you're still on the legacy Hub, see How to add a new Category.
Table of contents:
Where to find your Content Library
Open Account library from the left sidebar. On a master account this entry is called Content Hub instead.
Go to Content Hub → Content library.
How to add a category
Scroll to the bottom of the Content library.
Click Add Category.
Type your name into the Enter category name field.
Pick an icon if you want one — the icon control sits right there while you're creating the category.
Click Add.
📌 If you don't choose an icon, the category gets the default hand icon. You can change it later — see How to update a category icon.
💡 Tip: Cancel discards the row if you change your mind before saving.
How to add a subcategory
Expand the category you want the subcategory to sit inside.
Click Add Subcategory to [category name].
Type your name into the Enter subcategory name field.
Click Add.
The parent category and your new subcategory both stay expanded afterwards, so you can carry straight on and start adding topics.
📌 Subcategories don't have their own icon — only categories do.
