How to manage members in a master account

A master account manages other Touch Stay accounts, called members. The Members page lists them and lets you find a member, copy a link to their guidebooks, or remove a member from your master account.

💡 Members are separate accounts linked to your master account. They are not the users on your Team page. For team users, see User management explained.

Table of contents:

Before you start

  • The Members page is only available to master accounts. Standard accounts don't have it.

  • Removing a member needs edit access to your account. Users with the Viewer role can see the list but can't remove members.

How to open the Members page

  1. Log in to your master account.

  2. Select Members in the left menu.

The All Members page shows how many members you have, followed by one row per member:

  • the member's account icon, name and email address

  • a number showing how many guidebooks the member has

  • a Copy Guide Link button

  • a (⋯) menu with the Remove Member option

Find a member

  • To search, type in the Search by email/name box. The list shows the members whose name or email address contains what you typed. Clear the box to see everyone again.

  • To sort, select Sort by and choose First Name. This sorts the list alphabetically by the member name shown. Choose it again to reverse the order, or select Clear to remove the sorting.

  • The list shows 10 members per page. Use the menu at the bottom right to show 20 or 50 instead. When you have more members than fit on a page, page numbers appear below the list.

Copy a member's guide link

  1. On the member's row, select Copy Guide Link.

  2. Choose the guidebook from the list. The list shows the member's guidebooks by name.

  3. Touch Stay copies the link and shows Copied to clipboard!

Remove a member

  1. On the member's row, open the (⋯) menu and select Remove Member.

  2. When Touch Stay asks Are you sure you want to remove this member?, select Yes. Select Cancel to keep the member.

The member disappears from your list. Their account isn't deleted: it becomes a standard account and is no longer linked to your master account. Their guidebooks aren't deleted either.

⚠️ The Members page has no option to undo this.

Good to know

  • Members join your master account when they sign up using your master sign-up link. The Members page has no option for adding members.

  • The Members page works the same way in the legacy Hub and the New Hub. To see what else is different for master accounts in the New Hub, read Master accounts in the New Hub explained.
